Dry port of Bobo-Dioulasso

    The Dry Port of Bobo-Dioulasso (BOBORINTER) is an infrastructure for receiving and processing goods for import and export, carried out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso (BF) for the benefit of operators economic and public administration including the customs administration. It is a place of fulfillment of foreign trade formalities such as customs clearance of goods, issuance of certificates, evaluation, inspection, transit, electronic tracking, scanning, warehousing, weighing, etc. . which gives it the status of one-stop shop.

    The project to build a dry port in Bobo-Dioulasso was envisaged in the 1980s. Its objective was to contribute to the revival of the economic development of the Bobo-Dioulasso region, through the realization of a modern reception and merchandise processing. To this end, a plot of 120.91 hectares was allocated to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso (CCI-BF) in November 1983. It is located in the industrial zone, along the railway, not far from Bobo-Dioulasso airport.

    For its realization, the project was envisaged in two phases. The first phase involved the construction of a multimodal logistic platform covering an area of ​​19 hectares, expandable to 40 hectares. With a total cost of about 7 billion FCFA, this platform (Boborinter) went into operation in January 2010.

    The arrangements for the first phase of Bobo-Dioulasso Dry Port can be divided into six (06) essential areas:

    the bonded zone: this zone covers an overall area of ​​37,288 m
