Opened in 1993 in Abidjan, the Representation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso in Côte d'Ivoire has the essential mission of providing support-advice (assistance) and making available to any applicant, the information on Burkina Faso's economic environment. In short, it plays the role of economic office of Burkina Faso in Côte d'Ivoire.

The representation of the CCI-BF has, essentially, missions and attributions of:

monitor Burkinabè traffic in transit at the Autonomous Port of Abidjan and help find, where appropriate, Burkinabè cargo storage areas in transit at the Port Authority of Abidjan and PASP;
monitor and propose adjustments to land lease agreements with the Port Authority of Abidjan and warehouse leases;
participate in meetings and meetings organized by the Port Community;
identify business opportunities in both Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire for economic operators and help increase foreign direct investment in Burkina Faso;
provide economic information on Burkina Faso to economic operators;
promote joint investment projects between Ivorian and Burkinabé businessmen and between CCI-CI and CCI-BF.
