3rd Economic and Promotion Days of Burkina in Senegal

As part of the consolidation of economic and trade relations between Burkina Faso and the countries of the West African subregion, the Government of Burkina Faso has organized, since 2015, Days of Economic and Commercial Promotion (JPEC).

After Cotonou (Benin) in 2015 and Abidjan (Ivory Coast) in 2017, Dakar hosts (Senegal) hosted the 3rd edition of JPEC, from 08 to 14 July 2019 at the Exhibition Center of the International Center for Foreign Trade of Senegal (CICES).

Under the patronage of His Excellency Christophe Joseph Marie Dabiré Prime Minister, Head of the Government of Burkina Faso, JPEC 2019 was held under the theme: "Strengthening Economic and Trade Relations between Burkina Faso and the Republic of Senegal" .

The objective was to promote Burkina Faso's economic, commercial and cultural activities in the Republic of Senegal and to strengthen the ties of cooperation and friendship between the two countries.

The JPEC mobilized:
- 150 companies
- 180 participants
- 80 exhibitors
- fifteen sponsors and partners.

The sponsor of this 3rd edition was Mr. Mahamadou BONKOUNGOU, CEO of the EBOMAF Group.

On the program: a trade fair, exhibitions of products "made in Burkina", tasting of Burkinabè dishes, conferences and business meetings, and cultural events.
